Aperion blocks the ignition. It doesn't physically restrain the scooter, so the two work well together.

Installation

Five to ten minutes. One screwdriver.

Four screws out, four connectors through, four screws back in. Nothing is cut and nothing is permanent.

  1. Take out four screws

    The four screws holding the G2 dashboard. A screwdriver is the only tool you need.

  2. Pass four connectors through

    Unplug the four existing connectors, run them through the Aperion module, and plug them back in. No cutting, no soldering.

  3. Close it up

    Refit the dashboard and tighten the same four screws. The fob works immediately.

How hard is the installation, really?

Will this void my KuKirin G2 warranty?

No. Nothing is cut or permanently modified, so it doesn't affect your factory warranty.

What if I get stuck installing it?

Get in touch and we'll walk you through it. If it isn't for you, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on unused, uninstalled units.

Does it work with scooters other than the G2?

Right now it's built for the KuKirin G2. G3 and G4 support is in development.

What does locking it actually do?

It blocks the ignition. A locked scooter won't start and the throttle does nothing. Nothing else about the ride is affected.

Is it waterproof?

The lock module isn't rated for water, but it installs inside the scooter's body, so it's protected in normal use. The fob can handle a bit of moisture like rain or wet fingers. Just don't submerge it.

What's the warranty and return policy?
